Privacy policy

In short
AllReins connects the AI agents and terminals running on your Mac to your iPhone. Your sessions go directly from your Mac to your iPhone over your own Tailscale network. The only thing that passes through our server, AllReins Cloud, is the alerts, and they are sealed so we can't read them. There are no AllReins accounts, no ads and no analytics.
What stays on your devices
- Your terminal output, conversations, files and screen never go to AllReins Cloud. They travel only between your Mac and your paired iPhone, encrypted, over Tailscale.
- Pairing details stay on your devices: on the Mac in the AllReins folder, and on the iPhone in its keychain.
- Voice dictation uses Apple's speech recognition, on the iPhone itself where it can, under Apple's privacy policy.
What AllReins Cloud keeps
AllReins Cloud (cloud.allreins.com) sends alerts to your iPhone and passes wake requests to your Mac. It keeps only this:

Alerts themselves are sealed on your Mac with a key only your iPhone holds. AllReins Cloud passes them to Apple without being able to read them and doesn't keep them. AllReins Cloud doesn't keep logs of visits.
What we never collect
- Your name, email address or contacts.
- Your code, prompts, terminal output or files.
- Location, advertising identifiers, or analytics of how you use the apps.
Other services
- Apple delivers notifications (Apple Push Notification service) and the apps, under Apple's privacy policy.
- Tailscale provides the private network between your devices, under Tailscale's privacy policy. You sign in to Tailscale, not to AllReins.
Your choices
- Disconnect an iPhone in AllReins: the keys linking it to that Mac are deleted from AllReins Cloud right away. Its alert address is deleted 180 days after it was last used.
- Delete the apps: anything left on AllReins Cloud is deleted automatically after the times above.
- Ask us to delete anything sooner by writing to the address below.
Children
AllReins is a tool for developers and isn't directed at children.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
